João Torres is a partner and COO at Mais Diversidade Consulting and the Executive President of the +Diversidade Institute. He is a lawyer and holds a degree in International Relations. Additionally, he has completed an MBA in Business Management and a degree in Social Projects and Programs Management. He works as a Senior Consultant for leading organizations in the country, including Albert Einstein, ArcelorMittal, Braskem, Carrefour, Chubb, Itaú, Grupo Boticario, and Localiza. Apart from his work in Brazil, he also serves as a consultant for Global and Latin American D&I programs for his clients. He was honored with the Out&Equal Workplace Advocates Award for Excellence, recognizing him as one of the three most influential individuals in Brazil in the field of Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace. João is one of the hosts of the DiversiTalk Podcast and has extensive experience in implementing diversity programs promoting gender equity, race, LGBTI+, people with disabilities, generations, cultures, and spiritualities. Furthermore, he serves as a D&I Mentor for Executives and Senior Leaders in various organizations. He is a sought-after speaker and has participated in numerous Diversity and Inclusion events over the past decade in Brazil, Latin America, and worldwide. João is passionate about studying spiritualities in the workplace and advocates for the Love Revolution.
