My name is Marina Malmberg. I’m a founder of Sustainable Expatriation startup with a global social impact. Our aim is to eliminate the dependency of women due to corporate expatriation. Unlike commercial services, we focus on global social impact and creation of shared value for affected stakeholders, corporations and societies, which so far keep talented, highly educated intercultural competence unemployed. We are enabling inclusive economy for all with a vision to aid the situation of well-educated migrants through our tech solution.
Recreating my career for 14 years in Sweden after living three years in Pakistan without a work permit, I went to study business responsibilities for Human Rights, CSR and diversity in Copenhagen Business School, where I tapped into social innovation. Sustainable Expatriation brings to the world innovative B2B2G tech solution for the sustainability of globalization which leaves no one behind.
We are looking for the dialogue, support and partnership for ten SDGs with the United Nations and MNEs. We need help from the UN to develop specific mandatory HRDD regulation which will help MNEs to protect human rights of all gender expat spouses, denied work permits through corporates assignments and as a result, left without access to the remedy in 2020, making primary women with children under 18 unprotected by the law in the global transition, dependent and unemployable in COVID-19 era and left without any protection mechanism and support, facing prolonged life shorting stress.

We believe Agenda 2030 will be achieved through collaboration with affected stakeholders. We are chosen among 25 shortlisted global social impact startups for European Business Angel Summit, gained international validation yet so far struggled to find funding in the EU.
