DIrector of the Center for Business and Human Rights at NYU Stern School of Business which is the first human rights center at a business school. Served as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy Human Rights and Labor in the US Department of State (2009-2013). In 2017 the NYU Center published "Harmful Content" https://bit.ly/2j85zjk which examines the role of Internet platforms in addressing political disinformation online.
